Hi Milo (again)

I've transcribed a second piece of yours from August 2013 about your five attorneys.

I think of you often,
With kind regards
Lavender

Hi Milo

I've transcribed a poem of yours from July 2013, Prisoners Prayer. I wanted to ask you if you meant for your poetry to be in capital letters in the transcribed version. The Guidelines on the website ask transcribers not to alter the work, so I've transcribed it exactly as written by you. It makes no difference in terms of making the text searchable by Search Engines, but some people think reading poetry is easier if it's not in capitals. It's your choice - if you'd prefer it to be amended, let me know and I'll see if I can get back into the transcribed poems.

Because it was a relatively short piece, I'll do another one today.

Take care
Lavender

I never NOR will I ever forget you. I have just been going through it and I guess I have always had faith in us knowing that we are forever and though we may hit some hard times and I crawl in a corner to lick my wounds and don't have a lot to say about it ... I always stay true to the love and commitment. I don't like the void either because I stumble on things like this and see you have shared with the world that I could possibly ever walk away and forget the truest love of my life... I hope you are not feeling like that anymore. I am trying to make a difference and not be distant... I love you Michael! completely forever!

Your True Love

Thanks for writing! I finished the transcription for your post. I am curious about your last point, about prisons being communist training centers that even touch the guards, could you elaborate on that, why do you see it that way? Hope your well and in a good health, Julia

Hmmm, sounds like the Department of Corrections is not paying much attention to us citizens! (Where have we seen this in history?) Unfortunately, I don't have much pratical experience with governmental agencies. I would guess building up public support might help, or just repeatedly contacting the Department's appeal center (if that's a thing). Perhaps, if you can, try scheduling a face-to-face meeting with a Department agent? Maybe he or she will be won over by your sincerity. Anyway, hopefully fellow BtB commentors will have more helpful suggestions. Hang in there, brother! In the meantime, try reading legal and political philosophy for fun (if you can); people tend to enjoy Plato, Locke, Rousseau, &c. (if you haven't heard of them already). Can't wait to read your next posts!
Peace,

Very powerful post this month. Everyone in the family sought out that article. My mom actually went to a couple different stores in search of the magazine. I wonder if there are people interested in keeping the program going? Or maybe TIME might follow up with a comment in their magazine about the program shutting down, which could create a call-to-action?? We can only hope. Take care!
