So Busy! Is That A Good Thing?
It seems as though my life is a constant struggle to keep up with the projects I have set for myself. I am busy doing and not just being.
I am a teacher in the voluntary education program. I am enrolled in two colleges, one secular and Bible. I am now a toastmaster and am part of a conflict resolution group, each of which takes up one night a week. I am writing a book in the hopes of making enough money to be a small help to my family and to pay for my continued education.
So work, two colleges, two groups and writing a book. Not good when combined. My prayer life has fallen off, my ministry has stalled and I have hardly written my loved ones at all lately.
Here is what I believe to be Truth: It is better to be who God has called you to BE, than to do what you think He has called you to do. Ideally we do both.
Me, I am stuck. Please pray for me, that my thirst for prayer will be renewed, along with my mind.
Please pray that the book I am writing will be used of God to carry a message and to provide for my needs.
