Behind a Mind Behind Bars
The World Seems So Close But
So Very Far and the Family
and Friends once had are no more.
Who else to turn to? a Very
good Question for those Behind,
Bars Learn Lifes Lessons
I'd once written reaching out to those
with heart for Behind the Walls
are dessolate times. I Was Yearning
For Friendship and Rehabilitation,
though a Social Network Constructing
of Sharing past Experiences, prestant
time and caring words a possibility
to Meet someone new and learn
more of what life offers But,
I was sent a Very Rude ad
That almost Made Me give up hope
When hope is so hard to be
Kept alive. It was sent annonomously
Concerning parole officers, Correction
Officers and even a paralegal
that condems our efforts at
Rehabilitation By labeling offenders
as Entertaining ourselves By Seeking
Help from Others through Pen Pal
request I've Been Yearning to
reach out to People and Share
My Story I have no concerne
of My Identity for If I am not
happy with Who I am I can never
Recover.

My name is Teddy Drake

Many May Question the
(whys.)
of My Addiction
of My Convication
how No one's in My life
how a person with so much heart
and love for others End up
Behind Bars,
What I have learned
