Forgive my delay in responding to your comment. Due to my current situation. Promptness is out of my control. Nevertheless, I am responding immediately. I first want to thank you for your comment. I want to set a few things straight. I think you may have misunderstood some things.

I am in no way asking anyone to forgo their religious beliefs or practices. I am not asking Christians to meditate with Buddhists or Jews to make salaat with Muslims. I am suggesting they can feed more hungry children working together than separately.

In response to your question. Muslims, Jews, Christians, Jehovah's Witnesses, and devil worshipers work closely together every day in commerce, none having to compromise their beliefs in any way, to achieve their daily goal.

The evolution of Man and Mankind comes not in the growth of all becoming like-minded; evolution is growth despite the differences.

A few years ago. I heard a speech by Minister Louis Farrakhan (Spiritual Leader of the Nation of Islam). He was invited to speak to a Baptist Christian church (in Kansas City I believe)? In his speech the Minister said. He's not trying to convert Christians to become Muslims, or Jews to become Muslims, or Buddhists to become Muslims. He is trying to help Christians be the best Christian they can, help Jews be the best Jews and Buddhists to be the best Buddhists they can be. And of course he tries to help Muslims be the best Muslims they can be. This is how a civilization evolves and becomes better.

It was not too long ago, people had a hard time believing that black people and white people could ever work together or live together. Today they LOVE each other.

In my post. I did not articulate my plans to build said community. I simply shared the frustration I had from sharing my ideas with others who were negative. For your information. I am ONLY open to constructive criticism. You voice skepticism. It is O.K. to be skeptic. If you want to be a critic, be one of value. I was not blind in my plans, just quiet.

Criticism and skepticism being different are treated accordingly. Therefore, I offer you an opportunity. Share with me just one positive approach I could use to make said community a reality? To assist you I will give you 2 examples of like organizations doing similar partnerships. Your positive idea must be other than these 2 ideas.

An organization in Philadelphia, Pa. created by an Islamic and Jewish organizations. United to better their suburban neighborhood. They first raised money to help neighbors save their homes from foreclosure. Neighbors being Jews, Muslims, Christians, non religious alike. They have now grown to help finance small business that sell, produce, and/or promote Halal and Kosher products. The common goal is a safer neighborhood, economical improvements and close community. Two religious groups using the foundation of their faith to better their lives and the lives of the people around them. This is true religious freedom.

Example #2: A Christian base group. Teamed with an Islamic group that were both doing the same things. They both shared the goal of ridding the world of illiteracy. They both believed that every child has a right to know how to read, write and do math. They teamed up because they seen they could do more together. They recognized the benefits each other had and wanted to have the best chance of success. So they teamed up and combined their organizations. They have built schools around the world. They have trained teachers in over 50 different countries. They have trained teachers in over 50 different countries. They have funded book drives that have dispersed over $2 million dollars in books in just their first quarter of their merge 1 year ago. It is estimated that over 1 billion children will be taught to read, write and do math as a direct result of their organization in just 5 years.

They have one golden rule amongst themselves. When giving religious literature. They must give the literature of both faiths. So each child will receive a Holy Bible and a Holy Quran. THIS is GOD working at the core of faith. No matter what anyone thinks about that... children are learning. That is beautiful.

if you are civil. Do not just give a reason why something will not work. If you feel it won't work, voice your reasons. Then voice your solutions. If you have no solutions. You should not speak on the wrongs. As the ol' saying goes. If you're not part of the solution you're part of the problem.

I am open to negative feedback that is accompanied by positive feedback.

In closing, you said that my plans are blindly idealistic and childish. I want to thank you for your words, and for seeing that my ideas are so simple. Children live them daily.

May peace be unto you and the blessings of the god in which you believe come in abundance.

RELIGIOUSLY,
MIKA'EL
