Relationships. What makes a relationship? It's made of feelings, words, promises, lies, truth, and trust. What is it that we lack in ours? Is it trust, is it truth, feelings, what? What is it?

Love. It is the one thing that can hold it all together. It will never die unless you allow it to. It will never let you go unless you say so. But then it's also something that can tear us apart. It's not easy. It takes two to mend a relationship back together. Both sides must come to an agreement. Both sides must be willing to work at it, make sacrifices. I am and I know you are too.

Relationships are not mended with love alone but with renewed strength, strength in faith and trust. With truth told, words expressed, lies erased, and promises that can be made rather than can't. The chances we make can lead us anywhere and everywhere, even nowhere but dead ends. Nothing is perfect. That's why we have to work at it so it can be. Nothing stays the same forever, but it can be made better.

Where this will take us, I'm not sure. So long as you are with me, then I don't care what my future holds. So long as it's with you. Love in a relationship can grow into such beautiful things if only you give it a chance to bloom.
