When I Had the World

When I had the World

Have you ever loved someone so completely there was nothing you wouldn't offer,
And as she completely crushed your heart there was no way that you could stop her.
You tried to give her what she wanted but to her it never seemed enough.
She didn't care how she drowned you in your sorrow with every failure and rebuff.
And to you she was your world so there was no way for you to ever leave her.
And everything she said I'm sorry you could do nothing but believe her.
But in the end she left you alone because she felt you had nothing left to give.
And now it's just you without a world searching for a reason just to live.

Love always,
Kiyoshi

Hello Kiyoshi!
Your name, is it Japanese?
Again, a very beautiful piece you have written here. The love you feel must be as pure as the meaning of your name. :)
Thanks for responding to my comments. I was glad to hear that they made you smile and brighten your day. Then I can say that I'm succeeded. :)
Funny that you related to the poem I wrote down because when I read your poem "complete" I immediately remembered this particular poem so I had to sent it to you.
Keep on writing I'm here and will read.
Kat, with a smile.
