Happy Veterans Day, everyone...
and Happy Birthday Marines!
We had a really good veterans group meeting yesterday. I've included our two-sided one page newsletter for November. Hopefully it was included so you can see it for yourself. We shared a meal and had a flag ceremony. Our event included prayers for those serving [cut off] their families. We even sang songs, not very well, but it was enjoyable. Especially as each separate branch sang their service's theme song.
I've had mail problems since January. Recently a letter sent to A. Turner and B. Franklin were returned. I don't know if my addresses are wrong or what. I've sent J. Smith (California) about six letters since January. He sent some book last Christmas and haven't heard anything since. Others I've written two or three times (G. Dangler, T. Hecker, M. Palmer) with no responses.
So just letting you know I'm trying. If you're not hearing from me, it's not that I'm ignoring you.
Only D. Sanchez's letters have made it through recently. Thanks, David, for the legal addresses. They were a big help. Also heard back twice from G. Dangler. That was before July. Hopefully you've gotten my letters. I'll keep trying. If I lodge a complain, I fear it could get even worse. My family mail and magazines are still being delivered. Intentionally being cut-off from outside communications doesn't surprise me though.
My court work is finished now, so maybe I don't care anymore if they harass me and fire me, and send me to the hole. If my mail doesn't go through (take notice) over the Christmas season, I will begin the process of repairing the issue myself.
Enough said. Let's see if and when this letter actually reaches and is posted to this blog site. Hey, does anyone have contact info for Cpl. Tyrone Bird?
Until next time! Have great holidays. Try to reach out to your family during Thanksgiving and Christmas. It's worth the effort. Don't let petty differences keep you separated. Only the devil wins then.
Love and forgive each other as God Himself loves and forgives all of us.
