CORRECTING OVERDUE PROSECUTORIAL MISCONDUCT

In June of 1983, I was forced to stand trial for First Degree Murder, against what was presented as overwhelming evidence as to guilt. I had not seen any police reports, witness statements or any of the evidence I was being told was overwhelmingly against me. I was told the only way the judge would grant a continuance was if I were to change my plea of innocence to one of temporary insanity. I refused to do that! Mid-way through my trial, I tried to dismiss the attorney appointed to represent me, as being inept, since none of the evidence being presented against me was true, and the attorney was not doing anything to dispute it. After the judge refused to dismiss the attorney, I stood to shout I was being railroaded. The trial continued, and I was convicted, and sentenced to death.
In September 1987, while I was under a death warrant and a month away from being executed, evidence began to emerge proving beyond a doubt I had been railroaded.
It is now February 2014 and the evidence of my innocence of any kind of murder is still being suppressed and oppressed. Even though I can easily be vindicated by the testimony from any one of the five attorneys involved with my trial. So am now publicly calling on (again) the two prosecuting attorneys who tried my case. This time under the scrutiny of the court of public opinion, as I call on them to come forward to respond to the irreparable prejudice the withheld favorable had on them to provide me with a fair and impartial trial.
Their failure to come forward before now, violates all codes of ethics and my further delay on their part cannot and will not be tolerated. As I call on the court of public opinion to exert influence on them to come forward...
2014, will be the year I come out from under the blanket of obscurity that has shrouded the truth of my innocence for over three decades! Bringing these two attorneys forward to respond to the withheld favorable evidence that disputes what they were misled into believing could not be disputed will also finally force the legal system to give me a fair and impartial day before the law. Resulting in my vindication of any type of murder.
Thank you, for signing my (change.org) petition, and I hope you will follow my progress in making 2014, the year of my vindication!!!

Thanks for writing! I finished the transcription for your post.

30 years is too long for an innocent man to suffer. I will sign your petition and hope that 2014 will bring you justice.

Best wishes and God Bless.

I read this post with such shame for the way this man has been treated for so many years. It's a shame for fellow human beings who've chosen to treat him with less respect than they would give to an animal. I'm only one person, but I will speak out to anyone who will listen and will write on behalf of the unfairness he's been subjected to for so many years, (regardless of whether there is belief in his guilt). The most critical fact to understand about capital punishment is that we, the USA, have placed ourselves in the company of Iraq, North Korea, Saudi Arabia and China as countries that execute the most inmates. That is nothing - ABSOLUTELY NOTHING - to be proud of and should make all Americans shamed and devastated with the association. I send my personal wishes for peace and sincere hope to Mr. Rose and would like him to know he is not forgotten.
