Ms. Renegar,
I don't see why you would be surprise at the fact that I wrote you. That's the least I can do for the woman who helped me find my own potential. When you read my stories and encouraged me to keep writing, you know what you were doing. You were encouraging a young kid to spread his wings and surf all around his mind for bigger ideas and even bigger possibilities. Too bad I didn't bother finding those wings or my possibilities. I just let the four corners of my barrio swallow me.
But since embracing my talents, my wings have spread out and I've accomplished a lot. And you are part of the reason.
