Dear litning:

I'm glad you found that particular post informative. However, I'm sorry that I don't have the contact info for Ampd. It's likely a private company. But all corporations must register with the Secretary of State in their home state as well as any other state where they have customers. Access is owned by Keefe Supply Co. located in Missouri so you might want to try there. You could also try your local Better Business Bureau, the Missouri Consumer Protection Agency or the Federal Trade Commission.

I'm just sorry that someone had to pay $54.00 for a $5.00 CD player. Being from N.Y. and having had a small mail order business I have a very good idea of what they wholesale for and what they're worth. For example, they sell us cheap watches for $13. I could easily get them for 50¢ - literally. They do this to us with 90% of the merchandise they sell us. With this mentality is there any wonder why prisoners are so angry when they leave prison?

If there is anything else I can do for you please feel free to let me know.

Rich.
