I'm 11 years old standing at the end of the driveway alone & I can see the car pulling away down Harber Rd.
Say a little prayer for Aunt Alice - We all love you and hope you are having a restful day
We need to start a movement for the protection of ourselves as an endangered species before we kill one another.
I find that both walking and reading are good forms of exercise. Walking for the heart health and reading for a healthy mind - away of escaping into the solitude I wish for here & lately I've been doing them together - the time and the miles pass by without being noticed.
The only thing I find more solitude in than walking or reading is painting where I can get lost inside of the scene for hours.
Our main purpose has always been the journey rather than the destination - we all know where we want to end up - together.
I just looked at my window and saw the smallest possible crescent moon floating just above the Preston Castle Tower - did you see it?
Everyone wishes to live to a ripe old age until they get there - then they wish to be young again.
Summer arrived with an old ease all its own. I set p the front porch swing, open up the folding chairs, put water in the little rubber pool, added ice to our drink. Now the warm starry nights will take care of the rest.
Nothing is literal until it is actually literal.
I miss those treasure hunting days.
I was going to tell you a joke about prison, but na. :)
