My Situation
I write this poem with sincere genuine feeling,
giving life to these emotions my heart's been concealing.
Using words to show passion and other things not revealing,
Like how I struggle with life and this process of healing.
Broken and shattered due to so many poor choices,
And with no one to talk to i almost feel
Like I'm voiceless.
So i turn to this pen when i start to feel hopeless,
Then write Between the Bars and hope that they post this.
And just maybe someone will read it and reach out like a friend,
To ease some of the pain caused by the situation I'm in.
