A Gift from Prison

Hello. Many of you reading this blog may or may not have written a prisoner before in your life. We are very crafty :) and try and express our love through creativity. Some of us acquired this motivated by our family, friends some simply didn't have a choice but to become creative or sit back and watch others enjoy delightful things like ice cream and cookies and try to earn one our way. This is how I myself learned I didn't have family or friends to send money and even if they did the state would take it all. I was tired of being hungry at night and not having the simplest thing as a .25 soup after several years of putting my heart into it I began to get better No I am no artist I learned to make different styles of cards for peoples loved ones the best part was hearing from someone and them telling me the son or daughter, mother or wife really loved my card or got a kick out of it it made me feel a part of something it was like an extra tip :) although a card can earn a couple of dollars after hours of work I'd learned to do other creative things like boards and handkerchief. Some of you have seen these things and asked your loved one to have something made. I'd found that families across the world found happiness in these items just because they were handmade and became sentimental. I hope to post more for you to see but its not just about what I want I can earn in here anymore. Its about brightening another persons life and sharing a smile! You are always welcome to write if you would like something made for someone special in your life or even you! Simply state the occasion, age, what they like, even favorite colors and share the experience. This is my gift to you.
