Change

=Change= (7-7-2014)

Many people change like flood victims, some won't be able to go home again because home has been washed away. Others will find encouragement in new ideas with a slate. Still others will slowly feel compelled to resolve a conflict that is too painful to live with any longer.

They find one set of choices closed out behind them and a new set open in front of them.

Some make changes eagerly and easily, while others find it insurmountably difficult. Some sail through enormous change with a sense of exhilaration, while others can only take a tentative half-step before feeling profoundly disrupted. It seems that the same set of events of circumstances feels different, carries different weights for different people. How we express it depends on whether we see this change as threatening or full of promise.

All of us must choose at some point to put down roots or forever be slaves to the winds.
