Who will win and why:
These are my college football picks for October 4, 2014 - Saturday
STAN at Notre Dame: Notre Dame will win this game at home. They got their quarterback Everett Golson back, plus Notre Dame is much better this year.
Neb at Michigan State: Michigan State will win this game with their defense. Nebraska's offense is suspect on the road and Michigan State will make sure Nebraska will be playing in a hostile environment.
Southern Methodist University at E. Carolina: This will probably be a blowout. SMU don't like to tackle which is why E. Carolina will probably win by 2 or 3 touchdowns.
Ohio State at Maryland: Ohio State better be careful playing at Maryland. The terps may even upset Ohio State and pull of the victory. This game will be close.
Baylor at Texas: Baylor sure can put up points. If I had to pick the over in this one. I would pick the over, which would probably be 72 points or even more. Plain and simple, the only way you will beat Baylor is be outscoring them, something that Texas won't be able to do. Baylor will win.
GAME OF THE WEEK: LSU at Auburn: I think Auburn can pull off the win. LSU seems to have problems with teams that are just as good as they are. I think Auburn will win, but it will be close.
