The Gift Before And After Christmas
Hello ladies and friends,
Even though we haven't personally met, I know that we're friends because I've claimed it and spoke it into existence. I want to thank you personally for giving me a few minutes of your time. I know that it's precious, just like you are. To show my appreciation, I offer you a gift. But before I tell you what this gift is, let me explain, describe, and tell you a little bit about it. This gift is rare and unlike any other. You can count on one hand the true possessors of it.
Many have traveled the seven continues, the seven seas, all seven days for several months, found a seven-leaf cover and captured seven leprechauns, and still haven't lucked up on it. Many have searched for a lifetime and still haven't found it, only to end up stranded on Gilligan's Island with a fat fake Santa Claus. :) LOL
This gift is more precious than silver, gold, or platinum. It is elusive but often sought after like a four-leaf clover. It is the only thing that a leprechaun or genie cannot authentically grant. It is something created out of realness, from realness. Its essence and sincerity cannot be copied or duplicated, for it abolishes fakeness like the 13th Amendment. For those fortunate souls who have found and obtained it, they are blessed and highly favored.
This gift that I humbly extend to you is true friendship! Or "Amisatd de verdad por mi latin amigas" (True friendship for my latin friends). I could say it German, French, and Swahili 'cause I'm fluent—and this is just a small example of how I do it! :) LOL This gift incorporates truth, trust, and honesty. It mandates that I'm forever loyal to my friends.
To give you a quick glimpse of Jibreal, as you can tell from my picture, I'm chocolate brown and handsome. I'm 6 ft even, 215 lbs solid. I enjoy lifting weights and exercising my mind. I'm what many refer to as a jailhouse lawyer. I'm an avid reader and should be on that TV show Hell's Kitchen because I can cook up a storm. I'm something like a chef! :) LOL
The picture of me is one I took on graduation day from a wonderful program earlier this year (5-23-11) called restorative justice. In short, it's the best program I've ever participated in. It's a three month program where judges, DAs, lawyers, law student, victims (in which we now refer to as survivors), church members, clergy, community organizations, and regular everyday average citizens all come into the prison, and we participate in a workshop and sacred circle where our thoughts, emotions, feelings, joys, and pains are all shared in the group. What is said in the circle—stays in the circle. This group has changed and impacted my life. I am now a lifeguard (something one of the survivors named us). I would love to go into details about this beautiful program sponsored by The Prison Ministry of Madison, Wisconsin.
If you are curious, open, and willing to accept my gift, then I implore you to contact me, for the exchanging of thoughts and intellect often create wonderful ideas and possibilities. If you believe yourself to be unique, independent, and courageous, then it's for you to holler at me with the quickness! :) I look forward to hearing from you and will respond with swiftness.
Respectfully written and submitted by:
