Hello Rita,
Greetings! Yes, "age" truly is merely a "state of mind" after all, right? ;-) I'm not familiar with the acronym "BE"? Wow, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Tasmania and now Australia! That's an adventuresome bent Paul must have! I think I'd enjoy visiting spots such as those someday... He's blessed to have four sons too!
To clarify, I'm not on "D|R", nor have I ever been, I am twenty years in, on a "15 to Life" sentence for the second degree murder of a man in late 1995 I committed. This year I'm enrolled in four college courses this semester (Spring 2016), three of which are taught by local college professors, twice weekly, in prison classrooms here. The fourth class is thru correspondence, the mid-terms and finals administered right here on the prison grounds by education staff as well. In addition, I'm in a vocational "Office Services & Related Tech" class, as well as voluntarily participating in "Self-Reconstruction Therapy".
I did read & receive your first message Rita, (smiling) along with your kind greetings! I wanted to thank you! Thank you! (smiley face) As far as "life experience", mine is diverse - I was 24 when I was sent to prison. I'm 44 now, so... I was in the military before I committed the above crime, and by that age had travelled throughout America a bit; (i.e. South Carolina, Kentucky, California, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., New Jersey, Delaware...) How are you? How is your family? Until yours, all the best to you and yours!
Respectfully,
Paul Cain
