Hi Rita,

You were close. I didn't get your message on the 29th, got it on the 1st. Which is better, the US or Belgium? I ask because New York is a lousy state. The government is corrupt and the taxpayers are paying to keep men and women in prison illegally.

No, the only books I read are law books and books on my religion. I do have a radio and cassette player, but no TV yet. We have them here, just can't afford one yet.

I don't do sports. I keep busy all the time with my prison job in the mess hall. I do yoga; it's part of my religion. Once in a while, I will lift weights and do pull ups.

Yes, Rita. That would be nice to get a letter from you. As I don't get many letters.

Take care, write more later.
Henry

Hi Rita,

No, you didn't spell my name wrong on your last message. Henry is the correct spelling; the way you've been writing it is how they spell my name in French. But either way, it's still me.

Yes, I am fighting my case and I will never give up. Even the DNA cleared me and I was still sent to prison. That's part of the corrupt government.

Yes, other than country music, I enjoy the oldies of the '40s and '50s. I don't do any instruments. I can play guitar a little but never continued with it.

Why don't you like fishing?

The only letters I get every month is from one of my sisters, Trina. She is the only in my family who cares about me. I did get a couple of letters from one of my daughters, Tina. But those letters hurt me because she doesn't believe she is my daughter and she wants a DNA test done.

Take care and enjoy your days.
Henry

hello Henry,

I just read your message tonight,the 20th.
Here, I notice you should get my answer tomorrow,Monday,21 March.

It is a babysit-day at Elke's house. She lives near our airport, Zaventem.
I travel then with a tram,a train and next a small walk of 15 minutes.I will carry 2 Cd's, I got for free in my library, with my A- Card. 'A' from Antwerp(en). One can exchange 2 Cd's OR 4 books for free with 10 points. You get those points in swimming pools, libraries and social centers, etc. One take them there on a kind of a special pole-box.
It really is cool! Also when you have 10 points on your card, one gets a free swimming in the pool! Or a reduction in price for a museum, a reading, a show here or there...
Antwerp has a lot to offer cultural wise!!

Why no fishing you ask? Well,I couldn't see that fish dying. :(
I love animals!Although I had only canaries when married,a turtle at my parents(we had a garden in Brussels) and a few hamsters when our daughters were small.Other than that, no animals.
But I love cats, dogs, and other animals!Let me say that I like living creatures.:))
Do you more have sisters or brothers,Henry? Do they all live in America? Were you born in NY? I've a nephew and his family living there.I believe you as you say it is a corrupt state. The dad(92) of my fiancé (an American prisoner, George...) says California is one of the worst in that aspect!:o
And Leslie and her family recently decided to live there.Well, it's their decision.

It is late here:12.22! Have to go!

Will write a letter. Have a good day!

kind greetings from Rita
