My name is Michael, but you can all me Mike.
I'm a typical man's man. Okay, that's what I tell everyone, but I"m really a momma's boy at heart. I spend most of my time writing, studying, and reading non-fiction books, how-to books, and self-help books. I dabble in poetry and short stories about real life issues, both on the inside (life in prison) and real experiences out in the world. Some of my work is in print.
Some of my favorite magazines are Entrepreneur, Home Office, and Forbes. My favorite TV shows are Shark Tank, The Black List, and sci-fi shows. I like movies, especially Clint Eastwood Westerns. I love watching college football, x-games, and off-road sports. My music tastes range from Led Zepp to Metallica, and Cage the Elephant, to pop music and country.
I have a son who is in his early 20s that I do not get to see because of my incarceration. I really wish I could speak to him. Besides my son, some of the other things I miss in the free world are Dairy Queen Blizzards, pancakes and eggs, a bigger bed (not a little cat-like bunk), and I especially hate being on a ten-minute timer in the shower. There's nothing worse than the water being cut-off while you have shampoo in your eyes.
