RE: WALK FOR INCLUSION & RESTORATION OF AMERICAN CITIZENSHIP
The Emancipation Initiative (E.I.) is hosting a "Walk For Inclusion..." to engage Massachusetts' residents and American citizens in an effort to maximize our democratic power through interaction and collaboration with local and intrastate communities, neighborhoods, cities, and towns throughout Massachusetts - along with interested participants hailing from other states. E.I.'s Walk is an open invitation to all groups and organizations vying to sustain, and in many cases, restore the integrity of our democratic character throughout the American political system for citizens who feel either left out, or stuck at the margins of our American democracy resulting from social, sexual, economic, or societal factors.
We will meet on October 23, 1:00P.M. at 1999 Ball St. in Ramsey Park in which will be followed by a 30 minute session of "Passing of the Bullhorn." At this juncture, various groups and organizations will be allotted 2 - 3 minutes to speak on behalf of their group, cause, or organization. After circulating the bullhorn, participants will then commence to walk in solidarity to the Massachusetts State House. Upon arrival at the Mass. State House - Harvard Divinity School Professor, Matthew Potts Ph.D., along with other E.I. participants which include Criminal Justice Policy Coalition's (CJPC) Executive Director Rachel Corey, will address relating to maximizing participation and promoting community involved legislative actions. Participants will then be encouraged to peacefully picket while shouting for inclusion and absolute Emancipation.
If you're afflicted from any form of restraint, bondage, or oppression because of existing conditions and would like to draw attention to your issue, this is your Walk, as we'll all walk in solidarity towards absolute Emancipation!
