Letters From Beyond The Bars
Those of you who stumble across this wonder why we reach out to you. Why we seem so desperate just to hear from the outside world. Because in here, we've been cut off by everything we care about and love. Life seems to have stopped and, in my own persona perspective, it's what kept my sanity, given me hope, inspiration from you all. Some for a short while, and others for not giving up on me and moving on with their lives. And yes, this does have an effect on me because sometimes, after a while, you become a friend and not just a pen-pal.
I always look forward to your responses, your questions, or inquiries. Look forward to making a new friend no matter the distance between. And even the part of sharing my personal experiences, my hopes, my dreams and ambitions. I've made it my personal point during my incarceration not to lose the inner person I am.
So I'm extending this invitation once again to welcome you to write and share a part of you. It's not a hard thing to do. The hardest part is just picking up the pen! :)
I'll be looking forward to it. Also for those who've kept up with my story, it won't be long and I'll by starting my truck driving classes! I'm really quite exited! Counting down two months!
