What I wrote has nothing to do with thinking or self absorption. It's what I see within the prison. I know New York State has a lot of good programs to help us and I did a lot of them, but because of how the prison officials treat a lot of prisoners, the programs are useless while in prison. For example, when a prisoner takes the program we have here called A.S.A.T. for his alcohol problem, officers discourages him by saying, "once an alcoholic, always an alcoholic". Or when a prisoner takes the program called "sex offenders program", officers say, "once a rapo, always a rapo". They say there is no help for anyone who comes to prison. And no, I will never stop fighting society. I took responsibility for my past crimes, but not for the one that I am in for now. Stop judging if you don't know the facts of a person's case. DNA cleared me of my crimes, but I am being punished anyway. That's how corrupt the judges and district attorneys are. How would you feel if you were wrongly convicted and couldn't get out? I will fight to the day I am released or dead.
