Nothing In Return

by James Collins (author's profile)

Nothing in Return

A hug feels so right
When you can come and go from its grip
It's nice when there's no price tag attached
It's a free thing given with truth
And a goodbye is not hard-felt
Because a genuine hug assures them
It's no permanent goodbye
A hug feels right
When nothing in return is expected
Just a little squeeze says
I love you
