For My Little Brother

It’s been quite some time since I’ve posted anything. Those in my immediate family know that it has primarily been my health issues that have prevented me from writing. I have a few things I’m working on, but they aren’t ready to be shared yet. This post is to let people know I’ll be returning to writing soon; and to showcase my little brother Terrence T. Sago. Many years have gone by without us communicating with each other. Over the past few months God’s grace has rooted the bitterness out of my heart, repaired & restored our relationship. This is me sharing with the world my brother’s amazingly beautiful mind. This is his work titled:

More transgressions than the City of Sin
A skyline that would put the Big Apple’s to shame
Slick Hustlers & Fast Talkers that will blow your wig with game
Yeah we that City
Hard knocks and no pity
The City in the Ill State
Where outsiders love to hate
And unnecessarily debate
Whether our City is real or fake
They want in on The Game, and don’t know the stakes
We rise like the Black Sears Tower
Quick to devour
Anyone who doubt’s our power
Yeah the City of Win

Where the Dish is Deep
And the Dogs are Vienna Beef
Buckingham glows with lights
Street life comes alive at night
Sad but true, there’s too much blood in the gutters
Young killers, dying kids, and crying mothers
It’s crazy how our youth misbehave
Even in the madness their lives must be saved
Despite the bloodshed
There’s an underground movement being lead
To put the City of Big Shoulders above the head
Yeah the City of Win
The City that Win
From the fire & ashes we’ll rise again!!!!
