RE: Drug Crisis in America
Dear Governor Baker:
This is a follow-up letter from my prior correspondence because I am somebody who has been inspired by your ideas for re-election and the potential that you have to make real change.
One of my learning experiences is with the school system and being able to speak to more than 35,000 students for the past 30 years. (Please read the enclosed documents for review #1). I am also looking at the identity crisis affecting America. We are regarded as a drug dependent nation, and the abuse of prescription drugs has played a major role in that drug crisis. (Please read the enclosed documents for analyzing the drug culture in Massachusetts, #2).
YOUR EXCELLENCY, I am looking at the roots of the problem within the drug culture in the prison system and how prisoners like myself have answered to two important questions: a) Whether or not they abused prescription drugs as an adolescent. Their answers is that 70% of the inmates at that time said that their were hypes and received medication to control that behavior, some of them also indicated that they experimented with their parents' medications, while the other 30% were introduced to other barbiturates, in the school or in the neighborhood: b) which drugs they experiment first during their younger years? "The answer was a mix-up of alcohol and marijuana for the most part. In particular, the introduction to drink alcohol was a prominent first factor or drug abuse."
Another interesting issue is that the use of hyper-medication to control hyperactive among the students is a very big. I can't produce statistics because our program is dedicated to tell the students about our experiences. However, in the question-and-answer period the issue of hyperactivity medication was very big.
Over the years I also have learned that the hyperactivity medication is helping the students and it is a great medication, but if the students are using alcohol, marijuana or other barbiturates nullifies the effectiveness of the hyperactivity medication and whether or not the juvenile created another level of addicted personality that can end in committing other crimes or committing suicide, another complex problem is with the mixing of marijuana while the individual is using the medication and OPION/FENTANYL.
CONCLUSION
Governor Baker, I am enclosing additional documents for credibility purposes, I am a prisoner and anyone can dispute my knowledge and expertise on this entire matter. Please keep in mind that i was legally registered with the Office of Political Finance (OCPF) as a political candidate and you can confirm this by looking into my files at www.mass.gov/ocpf I.D.# 14954, password number S8PB1OPJ.
If you gave me a fair review and consideration, it would help me to be mindful of God's presence and grateful for His provision and care.
Respectfully yours,
Luis D. Perez W-33937
