According to public reports by the media, President Donald Trump told his 2,000th lie while in office on January 9, 2018. Apparently Trump lied at least one thousand times between his inauguration and August of 2017, and then lied one thousand more times between August of 2017 and January 9, 2018.
To be clear, that is an average of over 37 lies per week, well over five lies per day, told to the people of this nation since their president took office.
On January 17, 2018 the presidential physician announced that Trump scored "perfect", a 30 out of 30, on a cognitive test. Great! There's no medical cause for Trump's behavior and dishonesty; he's just not an honest man.
Passing a cognitive test does NOT make Trump "fit for office".
The Vice President and the Executive Cabinet members should invoke Section 4 of the 25th Amendment to the United States Constitution to declare Trump unfit for office. These officials swore an oath to the Constitution and to the country, NOT an oath to Trump or to a party.
The 25th Amendment option is not impeachment; it is the executive branch declaring the president unfit or unable to serve. We all know the man is unfit for office. What are they waiting for?
