Walking With Me
Dear Lord,
Is that your shadow I see?
Made in your image but you walking with me
Is that your whisper I hear in the breeze?
Gentle and kind words encouraging me.
Oh how I need you each and every day.
Even when I've forgotten to bow my head to pray.
My life sometimes takes the hope and leaves me empty.
My sins so harsh and all so many.
Sometimes I'm even consumed
By the weight of my burdens that leave me doomed.
But I will find my way with the strength of Jesus
Who promises to never leave nor forsake us.
