Dear Readers,
Greetings in peace. It has been a while since my last posting. I've focused my energy on legal efforts to obtain my freedom pursuant to the passage of The Public Safety and Rehabilitation Act of 2016, known as Prop 57. I have a petition of habeas corpus (case number: BHO11742, Los Angeles Superior Court) pending.
However, as Governor Brown will be leaving office this November, I humbly request from everyone reading this blog post to submit a letter of support for my commutation of sentence (see previous blog post to see my application for commutation of sentence).
Please include an email cover letter with a letter of support. You can review other letters of support if you need a template.
As I look ahead, I imagine a future filled with hope. I hope you will continue to stay in touch with me, in society, so together we can work to build the world we all want to live in.
