Into The Light

In my mind I am pursuaded
That all people have a dark side
Some hide in their deeds well
Showing only their shadows

One day they're your friend
Until money shows its head
Then they're looking for
The nearest thing
To club you with

Two lies come together forming another lie
The new lie is more fierce than the parent lie
The destruction continues, and eventually will come out—
From the shadows, and into the light

Beautiful poetry! It is so true! Everyone has an angel and a devil on each shoulder. Some people hide it better than others... but does that really make them better? I vote no. We are all one, just with different resources and opportunities. But they cant hide forever. Hang around a person long enough and their true nature comes out. There is good in everyone, just like there is bad. Focus on your good, its there!
