My Dearest Love:
You are this moment in time that I've gotten lost in so many times. You are the light that catches my eye on dark days. You are this world we share together. You are the long cleansing that soothes me. You are the continual laughter bringing peace to my soul. You are my flamboyant masterpiece.
You are the beaches and marshes I see in my paintings. You are the many colorful skies I gaze upon. You are the shallow shorelines where my boat is docked. You are the gentle wind that moves me on still days. You are the running river that carries me home when I am lost.
You are the poetry I've always loved. You are the art I've always dreamed. I have always felt that we are feeling so close with you that we are the same person.
Despite—despite the years that separates us, despite the miles between us, we are this moment in a realist painting where two lovers are enclosed in one another's embrace forever. You have always been my love, the one that holds my head above water during the hurricanes. You are the keeper of my heart.
