Dear Between the Bars,
My blog is 5987. It has been months since I sent in a letter, but I have a legit reason.
I don't have the ones I've written while I was on death row. Plus I've never had family. Closest person was my sister's husband. We become friends when I was in the free world. But like most, he has a life and I had to realize people I met or come in contact with won't be around long.
So, I've come to the conclusion that it would benefit my life to being here. I wish to share with ones the life and times of prison. I've thought of writing all what I've experienced, the 30 plus years. Write about what I've done to teach society.
So, with all this, let me give those who read blogs or read other types of prison writings. I am also involved with the American Prison Writing Archive in New York. It's online (https://apw.dhinitiative.org). I am also on MB6 Life Support run by Dinia Milito (https://minutesbeforesix.blogspot.com, dina@minutesbeforesix.com). You can see my submissions. Also, a former death row friend thought of this back in 2008 (Thomas B. Whitaker).
I thought about how I can contribute through what I've seen, done, and experienced the two and a half decades. Even now in GP?
I write to anything I can. Churches, organizations, etc. Even to radical newspapers. I put my name out there so ones like yourself and to those I write, which is only maybe five. I have one She is in Ireland. But with whomever sees this, I'm writing to write. And if I could have it printed out along with the rest of the pages, it will benefit me.
Most don't see who I am in the inside. They see a prisoner. I am a human too.
I write to about a handful, in a variety of ways. I even wrote to LGBT+ individuals. This was a challenge to me growing up. See, my family was odd and uncles and even aunts question it still today. So, for myself, to finally grasp it, I wrote to both men and women about my upbringing into this life I live.
If anyone reads this and has questions, don't hesitate to ask me. I do answer all letters. But do realize I use stamps, but I don't have the resources I once had to being on death row. I'm in general population.
You can donate to my cause by depositing funds to my #1996573 account. :)
It will be awhile, again, till I write another insert. Anyone have a question? Write me?

I want to hear from you, John. I want to hear from anyone who reads my blog or the archives, even if you find me on a TDCJ ID website. You would be amazed by what I've learned about prison life.
I will close here. Till next time. God bless to all!
Guy

It is Lyn writing to you. I have missed our letters. We had to suddenly move around 15 months ago, our lease was not renewed and we were so close to being homeless
We have a lot older and smaller house, but only half the rent at $260.00 a week.
Our new address is: 11 Alan Crescent, Burton, South Australia, Australia
We don’t have a lot of money, but I will send you what I can after Christmas for stamps.
I will write soon.
Your friend always, Lynette Brunato
