Due Process

I've been wanting to post this drawing for awhile, and hey - it only took 8 YEARS to get hold of another copy of it after the pigs stole my first one in 2011! Not bad. Anyway, my original was in color, but this is a copy as it appeared in PAN magazine.
It probably goes without saying, but this is very much how I've felt since I was kidnapped. You hear a lot of self-righteous lip-service to "fair trials" and "protected rights," but this picture depicts the real reality of being arrested and tried. The hopelessness. The lies. I do still hope to make it through that little window someday, but as you can see... the deck is stacked against those without tails.
Hey, don't you feel reassured, though, knowing that big guy there is keeping you safe?
"Abandon all hope, ye who enter here."
