Hey! I hope your doing well! Thank you for your response and the new riddle! As yo your answer - Yes! You're right. It is a drawbridge! Great job! I've asked dozens of people that riddle over the years and no one has ever figured it out. I'm happy you did!
As to your riddle, I had a few answers I juggled. Like life and water... Butas riddles go, the answer is often hard to find because of the simplicity. So I've settled on "footsteps." Am I correct? If I'm not, let me know, but don't give me the answer. I have the time to figure it out ;). So i'll give it another shot.
You informed me that y'all aren't native. What country are you from? I'f you don't mind me asking.
I'll have another riddle on my blog that day this is posted.
