My Dearest Love:
Woke up this morning with both your arms and legs wrapped around me. There was no way I was going to be able to get out of bed, so I've decided to just lay here and enjoy the comfort of your love within the warmth of your body.
It was cold that morning. It was cold most mornings with you. You always kept the temperature turned down and the windows wide open. Yet your body was always hot, and I would always pull you closer against me trying to share your warmth.
I could hear the kids stating to move around in the other rooms. Daddy, I'm cold. Momma, I'm hungry. We would look at one another and laugh. Our day has started. To go back to those joyful days, all we need to do is kiss and close our eyes and we're there. Do your memories still wonder with mine in our youthful fun-loving days?
