The Return of Humanity

Last year, Young Baby Bro Melvin took me back about 27 years when he said;

"Hey, remember that day you kicked me out of the studio?"

I was like, "No, I never kicked you out, I was simply telling my lil 5 year old bro that I was about to lay a vocal track for a rep I had been working on."

My young Neff Marlon set up the VHS cam, and I called myself becoming all of my favorite rappers at one time, Eight Ball the Niggz I love the most, da BMp, Mercelleus, My Cuz Reese, and da Kid.

I title the song, "The Return of Humanity", then I added my own singing vox, and was like, YEP. I think Eight Ball is the only one that has heard this song until now, oh, and other homies in th event, over the wire and in holding tanks, the Court Bus and The Yard where true rap lives.

Gaon put a killmonger type beat on it, went new media 3.0 on the visuals and I'm told it looks and sounds like the inside of my head, from those that have been in my head.

I'm no rapper, but for whatever reason, most of my heart is made up of memories of my past life when I was most focused, and at peace, with my crew who was mostly made up of Masters of Ceremonies,. Wow, there will never be another 1990's in hip hop, and I want my folds to all hear themselves in the track, find each other's phrases and styles and, damn, I miss y'all, YEP, so, not a brag rap about myself, this is about y'all.

Now that 5 year old Melvin is a grown ass man he can see this video and hear me speak my heart, even now,, from teh bottom of this starship, YEP, because this is the Return of Humanity, which we all could a lot more of now-a days, glad y'all posted this video.
