I just wanted to say thanks to you and everyone else who's transcribed and uploaded the posts I've mailed in over the years The responses sent in by your readers helped the time pass, forced me to think about things in a way I hadn't before, and let me know that people out there did indeed care about those of us in here.
As far as COVID-19 behind bars is concerned, I didn't really get a chance to address the true horrors of what's taking place behind bars, and in retrospect, I wish I had. People need to understand the being separated from Society no longer means being separated from society What impacts us in here hes a devastating impact on our communities, as staff and guards constantly Stream in and out of the prison on a daily basis. They infect us. we in tun infect them, and they take it right back out to infect their loved ones, their friends, their neighbors. and in the process, people end up dying. All because we've ignored just how bad things in prison truly are
Anyway. I digress. I simply wanted to express my sincere appreciation for taking time out of your day to transcribe and upload my post. I also wanted to announce that this will be my last mail-in post from prison. as I'm going to be released from prison sometime between the 7th of August and 12th of September. (They're supposed to release me on August 7th. but we're arguing over a mathematical issue They claim that October 30th minus 12 weeks (84 days), gives me a new release date of September 12th, and I say that's only 48 days, not 84, that the correct date is actually August 7th )
