The Backstory:
Two years ago, Danny Boy said, "What, if anything, you needed to see or hear as a young gay black boy growing up in the hood that would give you power over suicidal thoughts, endless tears, always fighting, running away from home, and low self esteem?"
Everything that I said in my very extended response to Daniel's question was produced into s19 videos, and I recently was able to view a few of those videos and realized that somewhere in the world, another version of my younger self needs to not only see this vZINE, but also require themselves to share it to someone's social media, or iphone or ipad or gadget as a gift, a study, or empowering conversations, research, and debate. When I told Daniel that I was so proud of this playlist, he simply said, "Yeah, think I need it more."
