The pursuit of love and happiness will contort your mind into believing that nothing else in life is worth focusing on except that. The only problem with this concept is you become a thoroughbred race horse affixed with vision blinders that prevent you from focusing on anything else but the ultimate goal: crossing the finish line in record time so you can say to yourself "Self, I knew you could do it." But does it really turn out how you anticipated it to be? Some speed dating does work. But most end just as quickly as they began. Why? Because all you were doing was trying to fill that void in your heart, forgetting about what really makes a relationship keep going and going like the energizing bunny: communication, trust, honesty, knowing when to agree and disagree, consideration, and ultimately LOVE. Leave your heart open and love will always find its way in!
