There have been a flood of inmates that were serving life sentences this year but the governor
released them.
Most of them were murderers, and I do not think that any of them were sex offenders.
Our society does not apply the same measuring stick as to a rapist as they do murderers.
Favoritism plays a strong hand in favor of a murderer to attain his freedom.
I have heard it said that sex offenders can not be rehabilitated.
Is this the consensus to my readers as well?
I do not believe that is true at all.
I think it is up to the individual to evaluate himself, that's the start of rehabilitation.
Knowing there's a problem is the start to a healing process.
