TEXAS PRISON COST YOUR LIFE.
In Texas right now human beings are suffering beyond reproach. The cruel
inhumane conditions have resulted in 52 deaths this year since June 1st. More than Texas executed in its worst year of dolling out justice 45 2000 to 2001.
It's appalling to learn of these astronomical numbers! In the confines of a system that is based upon the old slavery system, it should now shock the scenes to much. This is the South after all. When you dehumanize a class of people it makes it easier to tear them down to destroy their hope, their will. By vilifying a certain section of society who is for all intents purposes isolated, segregated from the world, it is another example of the degradation of society in modern age.
I often reflect upon the old those of our former leaders. One such comes to mind today.
THE NEED OD THE MANY OUTWEIGH THE NEED OF THE FEW. How true this is in Texas. We the people should stop worrying about budgets, bills cost and find some compassion and humanity in the way we treat our citizens. Only then will change for the greater good come. Having a solution that respects all life would be the suitable resolution.
Taking the facts into full consideration after 4 years of the litigation from change, would have really been to allow the AC bill to actually go up for a vote.
What we got instead was the same old good ole boy politics in Texas stall, blame shift, delay, tactics that have proven to work in the past. It's all about votes, political hacks that want nothing to tarnish their records and chances for advancement in future elections, or career motives. Who care not what the little man endures, only what the big elitist want desire at all costs.
Make no mistake about it, the bill was stalled in committee, and it never even made it up for a vote! the kangaroo legislation session strikes again. Its farce of justice.
The poor souls in Texas prisons who serve a 2-year sentence for a 4th degree felony, somebody who has a life ahead, upon release ends up getting a death sentence carried out ad hock by political jerrymandering of $ budget's, cost, votes, the blame lies squarely where it sits, at the heart of Texas politics.
Who are these people we elect? Perhaps it's time to elect new representatives, bring change from grass root to the top. It starts with actions. Every single act and voice counts. It's time to rise to the challenge before us as citizens of a great state.
I'm sadly embarrassed to be from Texas when I hear of the share number of those dying and it will continue into fall, as will the unrelenting heat.
Question is what will people do? Continue to take sit? United we stand, divided we fall.
In Memory of the fallen.
Respectfully

If you don’t mind, I would prefer to corresponding through “The between the bars” site, as we have been doing so far.
If you are still interested, I could tell you something about Italy, our culture and language.
It can seem a bit weird corresponding on “The between the bars” site since other people can read our conversation but who knows someone wants to join our conversation as well. It would be nice.
