Project objectives: There are so many organizations' that help free male prisoners' who are lacking funds or their is DNA evidence. But what about the females that are wrongfully convicted but don't have a DNA in their case. On the other hand don't have funds to pay an attorney to represent them on their post conviction remedies. Bluntly there is no help for female inmates such as myself who has done 26 years.
I had a public defender who didn't care to represent me fairly. I was indicted on Felony murder in May, 1997. I asked my attorney could I get a second expert witness of the cause of death. But he said no the state expert witness of the cause of death. But he said no the state expert witness knows what he was talking about. My public defender also hindered my case from being properly investigated. The State of Georgia sentence me because they thought I knew something. I was given a life sentence with the possibility of parole under 14 years.
I have been denied parole four times - 2011, 2017, 2021 and 2023 with no disciplinary write up. I have been trying to go back to court to get my sentence reduced under the O.C.G.A 17-10-6.1. Also I need to hire an investigator. Because their are so many unresolved questions surrounding the person death and the law enforcement that was on the case. Which I have find one she wants $125.00 per hour. The attorney I desire, is a good attorney but the amount to hire is expensive - $700,000 for attorney fee and courts cost.
Positive outcome: If I am freed it can cause the justice system to revamp their laws pertaining to the women in the penal system in Georgia. It will bring attention to how the justice system is implemented in a destructive way, that don't give women a chance to prove themselves in society in the State of Georgia.

To every equal justice fighters

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am submitting this proposal to you. We are requesting donations of any kind because it a dying must. Each day I continue to set, everybody in my family is suffering. When I can be home helping them. Especially the elderly in my family that barely survive. Such as my mother in law and father in law only receive a social security. They don't get no food stamps. All their children are grown. For example, they didn't have no food to eat in their refrigerator. By the grace of God somebody just came out of nowhere handed $50.00 to them. Just yesterday, the wash machine belt broke. They didn't have no money to get a new one and my mother-in-law 74 years old said I can try in fix. I don't do drugs or drink nor am I risk to society. This is my first time in prison. I could be home working and helping my elderly family members. Just last year my granddad was place in a nursing home because their is no one to help him.
I understand there are many organization out their that help with financial donation for people who wasn't fairly treated right by the justice system. Would you be that one to donated today. I need you. Please help.
