Thank you for purchasing my book. I do not know if I said this on the blog or not but all profits from the sales of this book are going to be donated to a child abuse prevention fund.
I honestly believe that when people such as yourself become aware of the red flags of a child predator it greatly reduces the chances a predator will try to "groom" any child you have contact with. Predators are very careful to analyze the adults in a child's life to make sure there are not any adults who would suspect them of their "grooming" or intentions. While I am biased because I wrote the book, I do believe anyone who reads this book will become aware of the common characteristics of a child predator and it will greatly reduce the chance a predator will target children within the circle of this informed adult.
I do not want my book to cause any type of hysteria on this topic, I just want it to make people aware. There are numerous psychologically well adjusted men who work with children and they are great male role models. I do not want my book to make people worry about every man who is around children. While over 90% of child predators are men, it does not mean 90% of men are child predators. However, in my opinion, if one can learn to identify the red flags of the bad apples by knowing what to look for, it will help shine a light on their tactics thus reducing the changes they can victimize a child. That is what I hope my book can help people see.
Please share this book with anyone you think may benefit from reading it. I am going to try to get a copy of the essay article you mentioned in your comments to me. I would love to see the author's take on this topic.
