Life just gets better and better. I think of James Taylor's You've Got a Friend.
My mother's birthday was on the tenth of January. Happy birthday, Mama. We love you, we miss you.
My Uncle Dee's birthday was on the tenth of January too. I love you, old man, and I miss you. You always had hope for me. You never gave up on me. You were always my ace in my corner.
I have tears in my eyes now. Don't tell anyone.
My Uncle Dee and my mother were born on the same day, the same year. He is my blood uncle but not my mother's brother.
Hello to chessefloss and soundwordjody. Thank you for saying hi and thank you for caring.
Hi, little sister. I haven't heard from you in a while. Are you doing? Write!
What's that ticking sound? That's life passing by.
No one can fully predict tomorrow's risks, but we'll still get up for them.
In the name of justice, California has predisposed double jeopardy.
My love, you are my heart, my sky, my star, my smile.
They are trying to empty all the people out of all the gyms here by the end of the month. So there is a whole lot of transferring going on. No one getting out anywhere. My transfer has been rejected for now.
I believe in the power of love, the smiles, the kisses, the hugs.
All prisons are not the same, some better, some worse. It has to do with the people running them as well as the people in them. I would like an old mans' prison where all the guards and all the inmates are at least over 50.
Words of truth, justice, peace, and making snow angels. :)
Yes, I forget how to spell my own name now and then. I forget it a lot too. :)
I got the Christmas card, and I sent one to my brother Ted this past week. Moved, left no forwarding address. Another memo I must have missed.
You've heard about the boy whose parents sent him to the store for bread and milk then moved away while he was gone? I'm thinking I should have gotten soda in place of the milk!
The days here have been beautiful. Spring-like weather. I'm enjoying every day. Thank you, my heart.
Early one morning in late October (or was it November), when the hours were still dark and the temperatures were cold, I woke to the sound of my mother crying. My grandfather had passed away during the night. I continued to sleep or dream as the morning light slipped into the living room. I remember the sound of breakfast being cooked on a wood-burning stove. The kitchen lit up with an oil lamp sitting on the middle of the table. Life continued for the living.
Hi, Aunt Alice. I'm thinking about you every day.
I'm still walking around in circles as I've done for all these years time. But now I'm not walking alone, and people do notice when you're smiling.
Happy birthday to my Aunt Lorene. :) I love you.
Dreams of the imagination with my Jeannie.❤ Love you.
I hope all of you have enjoyed reading my ramblings as much as I have enjoyed writing them. Leave a comment, a prayer, a poem, a thought, a word of advice. Just say hi. A hug goes a long way. Bless you, bless you all.
