Burning for Two

Have you squandered love
with names measured in teaspoons
What can be remembered
when there is no line to define love
You call me undesirable
I am not a mud sitter
I provide wholesome dinners
and the finest conversation
with candles that flare without specific occasion
My house is filled with guests
Look, my door is left ajar
with candles gently burning for two
