LOST BIRTH FAMILY

Will I be able to find my birth family in the confines of prison? Where would I start to look? These questions often goes through my head. I sit and watch these shows about reuniting families, wishing that one day it would happen to me.

I was born on July 17, 1984, in Grand Havens, Michigan with my last name as Taylor. I had a brother named Georgie and a sister named Sabrina, while Georgie was young than me, Sabrina was older than us. I was not taken away from my birth family until about age 2. Georgie and Sabrina were not placed into foster care until soon after I was. At age 4, I was adopted through Bethany Christian services to my new family with last name of Johnson. Recently I contacted this agency and they claim that there is no record of my adoption nor any of my siblings. I don't even know if Michigan courts sealed my adoption proceedings but I know my birth certificate only reflects my adoption.

If any one has knowledge or information about my birth family or where I can look being that I am confined in prison. I will attach a few photos that may help in the search when I am able to.

LOST FAMILY TIES

Six years ago, in April, my adopted sister Sherry Lindgren disowned my parents because they decided to take my other sister Shane and her baby into my parent's home and later another baby girl was born to Shane. Sherry has not called or written because my parent still choose to raise Shane's babies as God has asked them to. However, Sherry's granddaughter (Kevin's daughter) was due to be born when she stopped communicating with my parents . Sherry used to work at Graceland University and lived in Lamoni, Iowa near the University. If anyone knows about Sherry or any of the granddaughter being born since, me and my adopted parents would greatly appreciate the leads.

Thanks for writing! I finished the transcription for your posts. (#1 and #2). I decided to transcribe for you because I know what it is like to search for lost family. By transcribing for you, I was able to get the names and details to be available in the cyber world, in case Sabrina or Georgie run searches.

There are never any certainties just because now your words are available through a search engine, but if God chooses this path for you, then maybe a relative will stumble upon your plea. I pray that it turns out for you in a way that makes you smile and touches your heart.

I recently did the same to find my brother, who is now serving a life sentence. I am deeply grateful to have him back in my life, and I hope your siblings can find you so they - and you - can feel that same joy.

Good luck and best wishes to you.

Warm Regards,
ggvdb
