Did you know your Mum and I got married on Easter Day in 1992 or 1993? Wow, 20 years ago! I sure do miss that life. How is your Mom these days, son? I wish her all the best.

So what's up with you and yours? Baby Haven is a bundle of joy, eh? The first five years of a child's life is real important... I think I've read somewhere. Why do you suppose those first five years are so important in the development of a person, Will? Have you also seen that in any of the books you've read? Seriously, how does the first five years affect a life? Would you research this and let me know please?

Okay, your comment about censored phone conversations with your sibs has me concerned some. It's pretty typical for teenagers to resent their parents and all... but what kinda parents censor conversations you guys have with each other? Believe you me bud, I've never been father of the year... but I know nobody can suppress any young Goehler blood without suffering some consequence.

Look, if Bill Goehler is anathematized by the people who chose to raise you all, they seem to be losing a wonderful teaching tool in prohibiting me a place in your lives. I've always assumed that those fostering folk genuinely wished to raise up responsible and functional people and I've had nothing but true admiration toward them for taking on such a tremendous task. But what's up with censoring?

And look at you – still can't send me photographs in the mail in order to prohibit a postmark? Who in hell do you all think I am? Sure I am someone who would write a Genesis 34 sermon when I heard about what happened to our sister. Sure I am someone who would try to get all the info I needed to save the courts the trouble. Tell me Will, does it seem wrong for police reports to have info – and yet prohibited to her father? How about you son, if something ever happened to your flesh and blood, would you rather someone like me to serve justice, or let the police collect their paycheck? Ask Jade if this dad is wrong in my way of thinking about this incident.

I wonder if this is an example of why Barrett would dare censor conversations about me? Let's see; as a teaching tool, let's look at my Genesis 34 sermon and determine where this dad is in error. Mr Barrett, I know the justice system needs help in some cases, and people like me to serve that need.
