It Never Stops Being Now!

The journey back to God is the journey back to now. To ascend into heaven is to sink so deeply into now that we lose interest in past regrets and anxious anticipations. But I make this so complicated with the should I's and only if's. To think about what it means to be present is not to be in the present.

Little children are so unsophisticated that they run around, giggle, stare at strangers, taste rocks, and just altogether have way too much fun. They're so clueless, they don't even know they have mastered advanced metaphysical concepts and mystical techniques.

Today, I too will practice being clueless.

It has been estimated that the average person speaks about 34,000 words a day. Multiply that by 365 day, and that amounts to about 12 million words a year. That ought to make our jaws hurt!

So, what I need from you is about five minutes of your time and at least 250 words in response to any of the subjects which I have composed out there. Feeling me? Can a brotha at least get some sympathy comments? And as you can see, I ain't too proud to beg.

Me, personally, I'd rather be attracted or drawn in by a person's words or speech than by their physical features. You know, they say that Satan was the most beautifulest Angel in heaven but look what he became. The father of lies! Imagine that. Just a little food for thought.
