Between the petty, little guards that are no less criminal than anyone else in here and the reality that it's still prison...well you know what I'm saying. There's a story about a little bird in a golden cage. No matter that it's in a beautiful cage, it's still a cage. I know you got the info about the layout of this joint from your ex Shawn, but that is definitely outdated info. There are no trees here and he was on the camp yard anyway. It's a lot nicer over there. There's a few nice things about this place, though. We have keys to our cells and we get a lot of yard, but it's still prison and the only girls here are not the kind I like!

I haven't seen The Sun. Maybe you can send me the address + I can try to work something our w/them. Maybe trade some art for a subscription. I used to get all kinds of mags but it takes money and...you know that expression out of sight, our of mind? Well, believe me, I've been long out of everyone's mind for a long time! Anyway, thanks again for taking a look at my artwork. Too bad I can't post some of my tattoo art. I enjoyed the conversation between you + Sandra btw! That brought back a lot of memories! And at this point that's about all I've got left. I don't know if Huero is still on A yard or not. I haven't seen him since my broken arm/ad.seg trip. I like him a lot. We got along good. Ellen! Thanks for logging on! I've been trying to call but I never catch you any more. These "comments" take a couple of weeks to reach me, so there's new stuff posted. I pulled out pictures of stuff I've sent you. I just drew 4 Halloween cards for my boys and I'll try to get copies to post. Hope to talk to you soon!

Thanks for the "comment" you left! I can't believe I'm hearing from you 23 yrs later! How the hell did you find me? Must have been an accident. Oh well...no complaints! I hope everything's going good for you out there. If you're ever feeling down and you feel like your own life sucks, just compare it to mine! I'd love to be down and out and living under a bridge! And who knows? There's a case in the Supreme Court right now that may give me that opportunity! I have always lived with the hope that there's light at the end of the tunnel. Even if it's just a hallucination! I've been so close so many times to being done with doing time if you catch my drift but I'm apparently too stupid to give up! :) Take care, Retia.
