"Cell Mates at Pelican Bay"

I'm sharing a few photos of some of my old cellmates who I done time with at the Bay. So let's start off with the old man with grey hair and his very nice wife. This photo was taken in the Bay in the visiting room. His name is Mike and he done most of my tattoo work. They call him Fine Line Mike. Last I heard from Mike, he got out of prison and no one has heard from him since. I hope that he is doing well and living a good life out there. If you're reading this, Mike, I love you. Bro. Mike done some really, really nice tattoos on me. He's a pro 4 sure. Now we got the guy with the big brush mustache. We call him Derwood. He was a great cellie. We had a lot of fun at P.B.S.P. Derwood was a 3rd striker. If you're wondering, Derwood had 3 burglaries and they gave him 25 yrs to life for that. The man has never been in a violent crime in his life. That's CA laws 4 ya. But there is 1 good news to give you on Derwood, he may get out due to yesterday the people of CA voted to revamp the 3rd strike law, so Derwood, it looks like after 19 yrs you will go home. I will pray 4 U, Derwood. He always treated me with the utmost respect when we were cellies.

Now we got David, he is the photo of just his head. He also is a 3rd striker so he will also be paroling soon after 15 years. This guy David wasn't my cellie for very long but he was a damn good friend. He is now here at CMC so I talk to him once in a while. I'll be praying for you to go home soon, love you too, Dave. Last but not least we have Rodney. Now this is my best friend. He is also from my hometown of Stockton, CA. Rodney, I know you're at home right now reading this post, I love you like a parole date, homeboy. Hope to hear from you soon! I know that things are rough and times are hard but you're the strongest person I've ever known and I have all the faith in the world in you. Stay strong and if you need me, I'm here for you, bro. Stay healthy as possible and leave me a kite on my blog.
