Rick,
Hell yea it's me bro! What a trip! I've often thought of you guys too. Are you still in Colorado? Isn't there a place there called Estes, too? Wow! How many more kidz have you and Tina had? Man, it sure broke my heart when you moved away with her and the baby! How is your mom doing these days? Is she still in that house we helped her move into? How long did I live there with her before your brother got out and... moved into "my" room? Tell her I say Hi! for me, will ya please. What ever happened to your brother, by the way? Did he ever move back up to Crescent City with his toothless fat girl? Hey, but at least she was "white", huh? Poor guy.
Anyway, yeah... after you left, I kinda played hide and seek with Debbie... and I think that I was hiding at your moms while my first kid was growing in his mom Dina. My heart was with Debbie and the kidz though, so I ended getting back with her and making babies (xy?), until I caught this life sentence. She surrendered them all up to adoption soon after and I lost contact with them all, until about a year ago they got at me on this blog site. How did you happen to discover this site, by the way?
You can write me back direct if its easier 4-u.

Hey buddy, nice to hear from you. Well, my mom has been in Michigan for about 10 years or so. I am trying to get her to come here to SoCal and live so I can take care of her. I am in Lake Elsinore, Cal. now and have been in this area for about 10 years. I have been doing Sheet Metal for over 20 years now. I have a son that is named after me. He is 15 and will 16 in March. My daughter Denna is 22 and will be 23 in October next year. Tina and I are in the same house, but have been separated for about 5 years really. I am planning on getting a place for me and Rick Jr. soon though. I was laid off in 2010 and have had a lot of trouble finding work since that ass has been in office. I hope you had a nice Christmas and got to see some family. Keep in touch and if I can remember how to write a letter, I will send you one. Is there anything you need that I can send you? Let me know. Rik, Tina, Denna and Rik Jr.

Hey Man, Zap has been my "moniker" as you call it since 1977. It is from when the arcades first came out and you could only use three letters in your high score name on games. And I've stuck with it ever since. Pretty funny shit I guess. I have had a great life as far as my kid's are concerned, other than not having a great education and having to do construction for 23 years. But the kids are alright as the Who would say. Denna graduated High School in 2009 and is now a piercing artist, but she is so artistic that she may do many thing's. Rick Jr. is in High School and a certified genius. So he loves school and always has and is doing great. He has been honor his whole life, other than a couple semesters. And Tina has been in retail, Walmart for the last 8 years and before that she was with the union working at Albertson's. I just got back actually from riding a bus from here in Southern Cal. to Mich. and then I drove back solo, it was a blast! She is doing ok, but almost 70 years old a little overweight and because of the weight has diabetes. I am trying to bring her back here to live and help me start a little second hand furniture and vintage toy store. Right now I am working from home and sell old 60's and 70's Hot Wheels and any old toys or whatever. I may go back to doing sheet metal if the store doesn't work out though. I found you because I had a newspaper clipping of you from when you were in court and stabbed your attorney I believe, that was hanging up and on top of the fridge, etc... and I would see it and wonder what happened after that day. So when I started using the computer, after a couple years I started to search for you and finally found you. How close are you to Riverside? Can you have visitors? I will write more soon, now that I think I can figure out how to do it. Take care man and tell me a little about your sentence next time. And I did look at a lot of your writings and correspondence, sounds like you are a good man. Good luck brother and remember that Tina and I still love you and hope for the best for you and your loved ones. Rik... Zap, bitch!

There is a reply I sent you in February it looks like. Check it out again, it is a long letter and explains everything in a nutshell. I have been doing sheet metal for over 21 years now, with 20 of it as a supervisor or foreman. The last two years have been horribly slow for my trade and everyone else's. So I have been selling stuff on eBay. I am so sorry that you ended up in prison dude, you are a great guy and I consider probably the best friend I have ever had. It is good to hear that you are positive, or at least positive enough for the situation you happen to be in to keep you moving forward. I will look back on some more of your writings if I can figure out how to. It's nice to be able to look back at your letters and rantings and see what I've missed being there for. I looked for you a few times over the years, but was never any good at the computer until I started selling on eBay, and even doing that, it has taken me 2 plus years to figure what little I know. I really do miss the "old days", wow it sounds crazy saying that because it seems like it was only recently we were together. Keep on plugging away my brother and keep me informed of your happenings. I will reply whenever I get your e-mail. The reply to your e-mails is the only way that I can for sure send you a message. Say hi to Debbie and the kid's, who probably don't remember us and take care until the next correspondence. Rik

Hey buddy just wanted to let you know that I've written you two long letters and both times they were erased. So I am here and trying to respond to you. I will send you more if I can figure out how to do it. Like I said, I am not that great on the computer.I quit smoking after 36 years about three weeks ago and it feels awesome so far! I used an electronic cigarette to do it and I am still using it. I am going to try and figure out how to read your postings and get an idea of what you've been up to since we last saw each other 21 years ago. Incredible that it's been that long, almost half my life has passed since then. I am selling on eBay right now until I go back to sheet metal, I sell old Redline Hot Wheels, it's ok and I make enough to survive, barely, but it's more fun than sheet metal and I can work when I want. Unfortunately that is 7 days a week and 20 hours a day sometimes. What do your days consist of and what are the chances of you ever being released? Are you allowed to have visitor's? And I really do agree with alot of what you had to say in your letter and have been saying that for 30 years, ever since I saw the first computer being used to scan groceries in the late 70's or early 80's. Eventually we are all going to end up with chips implanted in our bodies that will allow us to do away with all our devices that we carry or use at home to communicate, purchase, identify or entertain our senses. All the images you see will be transmitted to your brain and you will see them and feel them as if they are actually happening. But unfortunately that means that we will also be monitored by the government for everything from health records, bank info and crime purposes. The ultimate control with no freedom of choice. Sucks, but the world has been complacent too long and it is now out of control and it is inevitable. Ok Bill I will write again soon, you take care and know that I am out here and will get back to you whenever I get a chance to spout something new. ZAP
